Your paycheck, Social Security check, pension or government payment can be electronically deposited directly into your credit union account. Direct deposit is the safest way to receive your paycheck – it makes your money available sooner, and you’ll never have to worry about a lost or stolen check.
Never miss a loan payment again, or save money for something special using payroll deduction. Just designate a portion of your paycheck to be deposited into different accounts or pay back loans automatically. It’s convenient, safe and smart.
A notary public is a licensed witness for the signature of items such as contracts, wills, and other documents. Birmingham City Credit Union provides this service for members at no cost during normal business hours. To have a document notarized, make sure that the document is unsigned and all signers bring photo identification such as a valid driver’s license.
In keeping with the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People”, each year Birmingham City Credit Union awards two $500 scholarships to Birmingham City Schools seniors to be used for college tuition and books.
